Dr. Joe Ferry is a 7-Time Grammy Award Nominated record producer who has worked with such legendary artists as The Skatalites, Iggy Pop, Dr. John, Huey Lewis & The News, Toots & The Maytals, John Hammond, Delbert McClinton, The Roches, Nicolette Larson, Corey Glover of Living Colour, Eileen Ivers, Rhonda Vincent, Ron Wood of the Rolling Stones, and hundreds of others. Dr. Ferry is also the co-writer of one of the most popular reggae tunes in the history of Jamaican music, "Skalloween" (Joe Ferry/Doug Munro). Dr. Ferry is Professor Emeritus at State University of New York and holds a Ph.D and an M.F.A, among other degrees. Dr. Ferry is a critically acclaimed author of four books including "Connected: Mob Stories From My Past" as well as a noted painter of original Acrylic works. Dr. Ferry's short films, "I Was Born Not Knowing", "A Question of Protein" and "The Comic 2.0" have all been nominated for Best Experimental Film at INDIEX Film Fest and INDEPENDENT SHORT Film Fest.
